I dunno what others think. Im ashamed at some of the actions by people from Wise Co. Especially those in Pound.

I will agree? Why? Because they took a stance? What if others never did. Malcom X, Martin Luther King, JFK.
Would you be let down in those men?

I would hesitate highly to compare the actions of those men to that of which has taken place in Wise Co the past few days. What many have taken a stand against, is a stance against what others believe in. But like I said, whats done is done.

To some the salem witch trials was a dutiful action as well.

And who brought that Nola? The citizens or one man? Who knew his plan would not work? You know the answer. He wanted what he got. He wanted out and he got out. And WC is still paying. Read the comments of a fellow county. Some make fun of us.
When they have more problems than we do. Yet they make fun of us and some say, we need the guts some in that county have to stand up and say no.
What's wrong with that? You know yourself deep down. Basham's plan was not gonna work. He knew it. He got what he wanted. Everyone with any common sense knows it. He can now drift well into retirement. While we still struggle.
If he cared. Option 4) let him donate his money he will receive from WC back to Wise County's School System.
Yeah i can see that happening. The man is what 65 full benefits on Social Security plus his retirement. But man $203,000 is awful good also.
Son is a doctor i think. So let's see who has to worry about their future?
Oh us who worry about the future of WC and our kids. Yet read where some in DC make fun of us, because we try to help them.

Ill say this. I feel the means of his ideas were wrong and the handlings were wrong. The idea itself, I do not believe was wrong. But they are different sides to take and I understand many have chosen their sides and this America we are free to do so.
